Phoenix BOY?? vs. Phoenix GIRL??

What do you think?? Phoenix better for a boy or girl?? We love the name and I dont know of anyone pesonally with the name. I say boy, but am interested to know what you all think.

I am from Australia. I know only one child named Phoenix and she is a girl.

I know a boy named Phoenix and a girl named Phoenix. I think it can go either way. I love the name.

I say it doesn’t matter if its more of a boy or a girl name...if you love it go for it. I think it would be better for a boy personally...but I do know someone that just named their baby girl this but they spelled it Fenix...which I think makes the name ugly. In my opinion it is best suited for a boy...

I know only boys named Phoenix. I’m not a fan of girls with boy names or unisex names in general. I don’t get why some people like their children’s sex questioned when looking at it on paper. I think Phoenix is very boyish and not at all pretty on a girl.
