Baby vs. Girl

My husband and I are expecting a little girl at the beginning of October. We are newlyweds and fairly young. Only about 4 months after getting married we found out we were expecting our daughter. We’re both college students and I will be taking off next year to take care of our daughter and working so my husband can finish college. Do you have any advice for us? We are having a hard time finding a name we love, we like a lot of names but nothing sets right with us. We really need help. We appreciate any help that we get but we are very picky. I’m really hoping this will help us get more options! Thank you so much! ~Nathan and Allison

I know how you feel. I was pregnant a month before we got married and we were both young, very young. My baby is 12 months old now and we love Him to death! We choose Bennett James. Here are some suggestions we like for a girl:

Alexis Kate or Alexa Kate
Libby Erin

Congratulations! Wishing your family the best in this transition time. I applaud you for making the courageous decision to put your college on hold to take care of your family. You have plenty of time to decide on a name. We didn’t have any names decided on until about 2 months before our daughter was born, and this second time around, we had to start from scratch for a girls’ name. We only settled on the name a few weeks ago and our baby’s due in August. Names are fun! Enjoy playing around with different options. Look into the name meanings to find something you identify with. And listen to the flow of first-middle-last as well as first-last. Good luck! God bless!
