Madeline Corinne vs. Madelyn Penelope vs. Madeline/Madelyn ?

Help please! I’m expecting my second girl and I love the name Madeline whereas my husband loves the name Madelyn. We can’t agree and these are the only middle names I could think of. We are definitely using one or the other, but middle name suggestions with either are fine. My other children are: CariAnn Olivia (nn Cari) 10, Kingston James (nn King) 8, Michael Andrew (nn Mikey) 4, and Jacoby Gavin (nn Jake) 2. So if those names help, tell me which one you like and please help out with middle names! Thanks again! ~Natasha, Derek, Cari, King, Mikey, Jake, and baby (who’s nn is going to be Maddy/Maddie).

I personally love Madeline and Madeline only. Madelyn is nice but it is so popular and doesn’t fit as well with your other childrens’ names in my opinion. I absolutely love the name Corinne but I just don’t think it sounds the best with Madeline or Madelyn. Colette or Cosette would be gorgeous alternatives. I love the name Penelope too, Madeline Penelope would sound great, and I would like Phoebe or Evangeline as well.

i think the Madeline spelling would be better considering the ways that your other kids names are spelled, i think you should go with i like the middle name Corinne but i don’t think it flows very well with Madeline, what about

Madeline Teagan Mayers
Madeline Jude Mayers
Madeline Ava Mayers
Madeline Amelia Mayers

Have you tried spelling it Madelyn, Madeline? Thats how some people spell it and it looks like Madeline for you but is Madelyn for you husband. A great compromise!!
