Name For vs. Nickname Jesse vs. Boy

I am pregnant with my son and would like to use the nickname Jesse. I realize that it could be used as a full name, but that is not what I want. All I have found is Jesup for a full name. I am looking for other alternatives. Can you guys help me out?

I like James or Jestin. Thank you. I cant just use Jesse for personal reasons, but I would love to use it as a nickname. Thank you all who have helped

I guess I’ve never heard of Jesse as a nickname. I’ve heard of Jessicia nn Jessie on a girl, but not on the boy side. I’m pretty sure Jesse is a biblical name and it’s the full name in the bible.

Maybe you could do initials. Give him a name with a double middle name like Justin Edward Sage, so that he’d have the initials JES and call him Jesse.
