Boy names for girls? vs. Yes! Duh! They’re awesome! vs. No way! That would ruin her life!

Ok. So I like some "boy names" in girls, but not all of them. Some i like are: Jaden (Jayden ok but not as good), Avery, Jordan, Sam (as a nickname), Peyton/Payton, Blake, Cameron, Danni (as a nickname), Jessie, Reese, Ricki, Riley, Ryan, Taylor (this one is ok.) I just wanted to hear some opinions on boyz named for girls. Are their any boyz names that you like on girls? Why or why not? Thanks!

I dislike it, not because the girl’s life would be ruined but because the boys in her class would be teased for having a "girl name". I think girls can handle being called boyish much easier than boys can be called girly.

I do really like unisex nicknames for girls though, with feminine full names, like Sam and Danni and Toni.

I don’t like it. I think it suggests that the parents were hoping for a boy.

I love unisex names! I love Rowan for either gender.

Jessie is a girls name. JESSE is a boys name.
I think unisex names like Riley, Corey etc are ok even if they lean towards boys, but I really don’t like ridiculous things like William, Percy or Jack for a girl. It’s just not the worth the anniyance for the child.

I like some of them. But some names in my opinion are just boys names and not for girls! Here are some I like:

Jordyn
Hayden
Emerson
Ryan
Riley
Bailey
Elliot
Teagan

I personally love "boys names on girls." I just think they have an edge to them and that makes them more interesting. The ones I tend to like I either think sound girly already, like Elliott or are occupation names/surnames like Hunter, Archer, Sawyer, etc.
