I love Florence Clarissa. And if you spell it Clarissa you won’t have to make a point of telling people how it’s pronounced. Neither will she throughout her life.

My daughter’s name is Clarissa and we pronounce it Clah-riss-ah. So do people who’ve only ever read her name.
