Having a Will myself I always liked Emily (Emma), Charlotte or Katherine (Kate). I have forever waivered between those three options as my favourite girls name.

I love Kate! However, I think Will and Kate is a bit much because of the prince/princess.. Lol

I love Marguerite, it’s one of my favorite names! It is very classy but also has lots of great, cute nickname options.

I like Eliza Marguerite as suggested by poster #1. It would fulfill the "sentimental value" part of your desire in naming. If however you like the sound of Marguerite better, you can use it as a first name.

Your right about the Cambridge connection but I personally dont want to give up a name I adore because two other people have those names. It only becomes weird if you have a second son and then name him George. LOL.

Oh just popped into my head after posting. If you love Kate but dont want Will and Kate there is a solution... call William, Liam.

I LOVE Marguerite. It means "pearl." Marguerite and William go perfect together.

Eliza Greer gets my vote purely due to how much I like both names

However if you like the sentimentality of MArgeurite, I’d go with Eliza Marguerite
