Is Ashley on a boy okay? I grew up with a male Ashley and loved the name on a male. Is it acceptable these days? Also what do you think of the other names / combos? suggestions loved

Personally, I prefer all "unisex" names on boys. However, I don’t like the name Ashley on any gender ... but that’s just my opinion. If you like the name, go for it. It’s just not my favorite.

I love Nicholas, Ryan and Zachariah. I also like Zachary. A lot.

i think Ashley on a boy is fine but it reminds me of an ex of mine, (who was male!) i love the combination of Zachariah Cooper nn Zach, go with that! and to the first poster Elisha, Poppy, Holly, Abby, Alexis, Andrea, Beverley < these are all "unisex" names but i bet you prefer them on girls? so that’s not all unisex names is it?! and FYI Zachary can also be unisex if spelled Zacharee, i also love the suggestion of Ashton

I’m the first poster and no, I don’t like those names AT ALL on girls. Elisha is said like Elijah so no. It’s not a girls name.
