Emmeline: vs. How to vs. Pronounce
We have a little dilemma on our hands! We have both decided on the name Emmeline but cannot decide on which pronunciation. At first, the -een ending seemed best, as our last name ends in -ine (as in drawing a line), but will the name automatically be pronounce with the -ine ending? We are fine with the -ine pronunciation in Emmeline but worry that the -ine ending in both will sound funny. What do you all think on the matter? Thank you! (In case it helps, our last name has two syllables)
