Blair Cornelia vs. Yes vs. No

Hi! I adore the name Blair Cornelia for my daughter but recently my friend told me that was the name of one of the main characters on Gossip Girl. Cornelia is a family name, so I would love to use it, and Blair is my favorite name of all time. Can I still use it? Thanks! -Elizabeth

I really wouldn’t. A lot more people are familiar with Gossip Girl than you think. Blair wasn’t exactly the most noble character in the books/t.v show. She’s not some one I’d want to share a name with. Maybe give her a second middle name so its less obvious, or save Cornelia for a future daughter.
