Twin vs. Boys

Hi we are having twin boys and are looking for names. We like Casey and Nick. Do these sound okay? Should we use Nicholas and then the nn Nick? Or just use Nick? And can anyone offer middle names? We’ll take other first names too if you don’t like Casey and Nick, but please don’t make them rhyme or look alike. We want our boys to grow up like individuals even though they are twins and will have to share things. Thanks Brielle and Johnny

Casey and Nicholas are nice. I don’t like just Nick.
Casey Benjamin and Nicholas Jordan
Casey Levi and Nicholas Peyton
Casey Samuel and Nicholas Avery
Casey Samuel and Nicholas Quinn
I did it so that it flips with the middle names since Nicholas is Classic and Casey is unisex I thought it would be cute to give Nicholas a unisex middle name and Casey a Classic middle name.

That is a really cool idea thanks! We didn’t think of that! We really like Casey Samuel and Nicholas Quinn!

You do have the risk of Casey being mistaken for a girl.....a lot.
Here are some other C names:
Nicholas and Chandler
Nicholas and Carson
Nicholas and Charles (my favorite)
Nicholas and Chester
Nicholas and Cameron
Nicholas and Carter
Nicholas and Craig
Nicholas and Christopher
Nicholas and Cooper

I agree with pp.... Casey is definitely more on the feminine side of the unisex name spectrum.

I would stick with Nicholas nn Nick.

To me, Casey is not too feminine. I do think that Nicholas and Corey would be sweet though.
Nicholas Dane & Corey Alexander
Nicholas Reid & Corey Donovan
Nicholas Mason & Corey Samuel

My only concern is that Casey is unisex while Nick is clearly male, so that pairing might not be the best. In general, I’d prefer Nicholas nn Nick, but if you dislike Nicholas and plan to exclusively call him Nick, then I guess Nick is ok.
Nicholas Casey perhaps? Then choose a different 2nd boy’s name?

Casey is okay. It’s a surname. It’s a bit odd to give one child a surname for a first name and a given name (Nicholas) for the other child. I love Nicholas. Some other name to consider are:
Adrian
Charles
Carl/Karl
Dominic ("of the Lord")
Damian
Christopher ("bearing Christ")
Frederick ("Peaceful ruler")
Michael
Sebastian
Stephan/Stephen
William
Timothy ("honoring God")

Casey sounds dated and girly. Nick is a little dated, as well, and I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone whose name was just Nick. I would use Nicholas, if you like the name.
