Not a fan. The meaning of the word caprice is not so great. Ruins it for me as a name.

If you’re going to name your child a word name, make it a word you’d want associated with your child. So I don’t like Caprice as a name much.

I’ve never really liked this name, it reminds me of caprice sandwiches and capri pants. I didn’t know it was a word but I just looked it up and it essentially means "a sudden change." Also pronunciation could be an issue, it could get pronounced rhyming with price. Overall I think it’s a no.

So basically a capricious person doesn’t stick with anything and is always acting on impulse. Not really a great character trait.

Caprice sounds more like a brand of clothing than a name. I thought of the juice as well. If you’re considering Capri, it just reminds me of a style of pants.

I’m not really crazy about it. I like that it’s different, and it kind of sounds exotic, but I wouldn’t consider it, personally.
