William Ryker vs. William Bruno vs. William Nolan
William is a name that has been passed down through my husbands family.
Ryker is on the list because it means the same thing as, and is a form of, Richard which is my dad’s name. (This will be his first grandson!)
My husband really loves Bruno, but I think it sounds like a dog’s name....sorry if offended any Brunos out there.
Nolan is a name we both agree on; however, my sister has a newphew by marriage named Nolan. They do live in a different state, though.
I can’t believe naming a kid is this hard!! Thanks in advance for your feedback.

i like William Ryker best although i really love the name Willem as an alternative to William and i like Nolan too,i guess it doesn’t matter that your sister already has a nephew called this because it’s going to be William’s middle name right? unless you’re going to call him by his middle name,i agree that Bruno makes me think of a dog, i do love the name Bruce which is quite similar but not so aggressive sounding

I agree with William Alexander, but I like William Nolan.
The same thing happened it my family, like you’re saying with the name Nolan. My cousin had a baby and she named him Kolby and we have a cousin who lives in a different state named Colby and they hardly come in, so they both have the same first name and it’s not a problem. If our two families meet it’s once a year during labor day.
That’s not a problem and they are first names and closer in relation than ya’ll are. So I think you’d be fine with Nolan, that is if you don’t meat that Nolan often, but still it’s his middle name.

They’re all great choices but my favorite is William Ryker. It flows nicely and sounds really unique. Love it! GL!
