I voted for Slate--Birch would have the initials BS.

Both of those names are going to be tough for that boy to own. You might want to think of those as a middle name and use a less intense first name. Honestly and I’m not trying to be mean but are you thinking about what it’s going to be like to be an adult with those names? When I first read them I thought of a mug shot with those names on the board a man is holding. And I’m really not trying to come off as mean. I just know how it feels to have a name that different and I’m not a fan of my name. And when I think baby names I think about how if your naming your baby something cool because they’re awesome for a baby / kid you need to think about it more because they are only little for 18 years then the rest of their life they are a grown up. And paging doctor slade? Meet your teacher professor birch?
