Adrien vs. Boy Name

As I understand it Adrien is both a boy and girl name. I would like to use it for my son but I need to know which spellings are a girls and which a boys. Also do you know it’s origin? I’m looking for German boy names.

Well from my experience all the girls I know were spelled Adrienne. Adrian is nicer for a boy in my opinion.

The Origin of Adrian is: English, Romanian, Polish, German, Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Russian

Adrian would be the best spelling for a boy in the US imo.

It’s a very handsome name.

Adrienne is feminine. Adrien or Adrian would be for a boy. And they’re pronounced differently, Adrienne has the emphasis on the final syllable.
