What are your opinions on the name Annabelle? My husband and I have a very short last name, and we like the name Anna but we think she should have a longer name. What do you think? Is it too childish? Will it age well?

I love Annabelle but prefer the full name rather than just Anna and like the Annabel spelling. If you are going to call her Anna, I’d just name her Anna with a long middle name, like Anna Josephine, Anna Sofia, Anna Elizabeth, Anna Caroline, etc.

I like the spelling Annabel much more. I prefer Annabel to Anna. I also like Annie, Anya or Annika

We would use Annabelle a lot if we choose to name her that. I was just saying that we liked the nave Anna, but we would like a longer version, just in case she wants to be called Annie or Belle when she gets older. But thank you, we like the idea of a really long middle name if we choose just Anna
