Jacoby vs. ?

Hi. Thoughts on the name Jacoby. He will be joining big sister Zoey. We would most likely call him Jack for short. We don’t know what we are having yet but if it’s another girl we are liking Avery and Quinn. We are open to suggestions but be honest. We are looking for a good name that will fit with Zoey’s. Thanks

I’m not a huge fan of Jacoby but I LOVE the name Jacob and love Jack as a nn for it as well as Jake. Jack would also be a good first name on its own.

Not a fan of Avery but I love Quinn and think it sounds really good with Zoey!!

Jacoby is nice and goes well with Zoey. I don’t really think Quinn goes well as a sister name to Zoey. With such a feminine name as Zoey, Quinn looks like it should be her brother. Maybe Wren or Gwen or Gwyneth nn Gwyn.

There’s a boy named Jacoby in my son’s school and it’s great on him. I haven’t heard of any issues with it.

Jacoby is cute. Neither of the girl names seems very girly. Ava or Avalon would go great with Jacoby.

Thanks! It’s so great to hear honest feedback. Clears up thoughts. Our last name is Wilson and I come from a big italian family. My husband comes from a small conservative family. We were originally thinking Rowan for a boy but I grew to like Jacoby. I’m not find of Jacob but thank you. -Josephine (poster)

Jacoby is very handsome. I’m not a fan of the names on the girl list.

I’m not really sure how you get Jack from Jacoby. I mean, the letters are there, but the sound is completely different. Anyway, I don’t like Jacoby, and having known people with this name, he’ll get a lot of Jay-cub-ee. I also think it sounds too similar to Zoey. I much prefer just Jack.
