I don’t like it. She would be called "Dolphin" by her peers for her whole life. I would keep looking.

Delphine is an ok name. I don’t like it but I also don’t dislike it. Del or Della is a cute nickname.

I think it’s a beautiful name, but for some reason it sounds a bit incomplete for a first name, which is why I prefer it as a middle name. How about using Delphina/Delfina?
