Thoughts vs. on vs. Fallon

I met a little girl today whose name was Fallon except, it was spelled Fallyn. I do like that spelling better. I think I like the name Fallon. I’m currently looking for uncommon girl names that are not too out there and crazy. When you hear the name Fallon, what kind of girl do you picture. Do you think the name ages well?

I love the name. When I was in high school, I knew one girl named Fallon and she was pretty cool and cute. I dont remember how she spelled her name. But either spellings should be fine. Its a pretty nd uncommon name nowadays.I prefer Fallon over Emily abd Isabelle. Its just an refreshing name.

A name doesn’t define the person :), but when I picture a girl with the name Fallon, I think of a city girl who’s into art and theatre. Someone very creative and graceful.

I love the name! However, I prefer the spelling to be Fallon. I think there will be no question in the pronunciation, whereas with the other, you may get more southern twang twists! Good luck with the middle name, it’ll be hard to beat her first name!

You are absolutely right the middle name because now I think I have a strong name and the middle name has to fit. It makes a lot of sence as to why you say I should just keep the normal spelling. Thanks! I’m so appreciative of the supporting, nice and honest comments.

When I hear Fallon, I think of strength, a leader, like a phoenix that will always rise from the ashes. Maybe a middle name to soften her, show off her feminine side too. Fallon Rose? Fallon Grace? Hmmmmm.. I’m going to have to think on that one

I imagine a nature enticed girl who loves the outdoors. She’d like fishing and camping but still love being a girl with braids and necklaces. Beautiful name.

Fallon is a great name, but please spell it Fallon. Spelling it Fallyn would just make you look illiterate and uneducated.

Last poster, I strongly disagree. What would make me look illiterat and uneducated is if I chose a name that I made up with unnessary letters with a name that just sounded stupid. I could tell you some illiterate looking and sounding names and I think spelling Fallon with a Y istead of an O is far from that. It’s different and some people don’t like different.

I love the name Fallon, but I’m slightly biased as it is a family name for me, and I plan to use it for my daughter. I actually knew two girls named this in high school as well. One of them spelled it Fallon and the Falynne. I think it’s super pretty, different, and you could always call her Allie if you wanted a nickname.

I think of Jimmy Fallon, obvs. Am I seriously the only one who immediately makes that association??
