Just curious... why would you name your daughter after your niece? I understand naming after siblings or grand/parents. She would have the same name as her cousin. I get it’s the middle name but just wondering why you chose that name.

If we used Prudence, it would be after my mother.
We really like the name Clare and it was also his mother’s name, but now that our niece has it, we’re doubting whether we should use it...
