I do not like Samford at all but Sampson would be cute if you are looking for an alternative to Samuel. I still think Samuel is the best though.

Thanks for the Samson suggestion. I really do not like Samuel so to get a Sam nn I could not use Samuel.

I met a guy who’s name was Samwell with the nn Sam.

I like Samuel better. Samford looks like Sanford misspelled.

Why not just name him Sam? It can work on it’s own.

Samford does look a lot like Sanford. I would go w/Samson or Sam on it’s own. I have a Samuel myself and I have to say, it has grown on me. We call him Sam, Samuel, and Sammy.
