Sable is better than Sparrow. Another idea for a bird name is Robin (or Robyn). It might not be "unique," but it’s uncommon nowadays. I almost never meet anybody named Robin.

I think Sable Sparrow would be a great name. I love Sparrow--I think bird names are lovely for girls. Never heard Sable before but it’s short and sweet to me. Both great choices!

I’ve never heard of a baby named Sparrow, but I love it! Sable sounds a lot like stable in my opinion so the first place my mind went was to a horse stall, but I don’t think everybody’s mind would jump there. Just something to consider.
