Unisex vs. Baby vs. Names?

Hi! My name’s Sadie. I’m expecting, and I’m currently 28 weeks. Me and my husband have decided to keep the gender of our baby unknown, and leave it as a surprise for us. We are going to start trying to find the perfect name for our little bundle of joy. We want a complete unisex name... One that can be acceptable and cute for both genders. What do you say... Leave us some suggestions and help us find the right name? :)

Please make sure it’s not a random boy name thrown on a girl. A lot of people do that these days and they think it becomes automatically unisex. E.g. Wyatt, Collin, Mason whatever.

I like Reese, but I’m not sure how that would sound on a girl.

I also like Taylor.

I expect that once you have your child, you will forever think of that name as exclusively your child’s gender.

Unisex is a misnomer. Names area either boy or girl - not both. Just like your child will be one or the other - not both. When people say they want a unisex name, what they’re really saying is they want a boy. It’s always boys-names-on-girls and never the other way around. Can you get more backwards?

Try:
Ashley
Allison
Courtney
Evelyn
Hilary
Lesley
Carroll
Kendall
Lindsey
Carey
Kelly
Hadley
Harper
Blaire
Alexis
All are technically boys names but are commonly accepted for girls too.

Allison, Courtney, Hilary, Evelyn, Carroll technically boys names???? really!!

Actually that’s true, most, if not all, of those names where originally boys names. I know several men in their 60s and 70s named Lindsey. Aubrey was also up until 20 years ago a boys name only, now it’s almost completely a girls name. But by that token I don’t necessarily think that just because you want a unisex name you secretly want a boy baby.
I would suggest;
Jordan
River
Alexi
