For a girl you could use the name Marine. It is a beautiful French name and very elegant. Although you may find it too close a connection? I don’t think most people would make the association with the military Marine first however and I think it would be a great choice. Marina is another name which is very pretty, it is of Latin origin and may be a slightly less obvious connection than Marine, still very pretty though. Martine is another name you could use which incorporates Marine but is more subtle.

For a boy you could consider using Crew, I’m personally not a fan of it but you may love it so I’ll suggest it.

A unisex name you could use for a girl or a boy is Blue. It is very cool for both genders and is a reminder of the sea.

We love Navy & Marine for a girl so far, and we like Cadence for a boy so far.
