Is the name Paris completely ruined? We just love it so much, it goes beyond the ridiculous Paris Hilton. We like it for the mythological figure of the same name and its sound.

I don’t think it’s ruined by Paris Hilton. I know an adorable little girl named Paris Annabelle. She’s blond with big blue eyes, the name fits her perfect.

Sorry, but I consider Paris a trashy sounding name. I also think of Paris Geller from Gilmore Girls. The name was chosen for her out of irony because she was rich but she was a very studious, serious person but the name Paris kind of represents a rich girl who is very ignorant and promiscuous. I don’t think they would have chosen that name for her character if they didn’t think people would get the irony.

Do you mean Prince Paris of Troy? Were you thinking of using it on a boy? Because I think it’s a great name on either boy or girl.
I don’t think that Paris Hilton is prevalent enough nowadays to result in any teasing from kids their own age.
Also, I love names that are really far from -ayden or Mac sounding. = )

I’m assuming this is for a girl. I do find it a bit Paris Hilton, but that’s because I grew up around the time that she was famous. Now, I don’t think it would be something to worry about, because kids her age wouldn’t know who that even was. It’s a pretty sound. If it’s for a boy, I don’t like it at all because I find it girly sounding.
