Emilia vs. Amelia

I’m starting to like Emilia a lot better but I’m not sure. What do you think?

I much prefer Emilia for 3 reasons:

1. It is less common
2. It can be shortened to Emmie/Millie
3. Amelia is a birth defect to do with limbs

Amelia can be shortened to Amy whereas Emilia to Emmi. They can both be Lia or Milly.

It just depends which you like better. I personally prefer Amelia and think she will have to correct people less often.21

I prefer the spelling Emilia. I just think it looks prettier.
