Ephraim Jay vs. Like vs. Dislike

Thinking about using this name for our second son since it was my great grandfathers name and my husbands grandfathers name. I think I would like to call him either jay or EJ instead of Ephraim but would pronounce it ee-fram. Hubby thinks we should just call him Ephraim. Older brothers name is Everett and our favorite girl names are Stella and Camille so we typically like old fashioned names that aren’t too popular that are distinctly masculine or feminine. Other names on our list are Beau, Collin, Reid, Brady, etc. what do you think? I’m due tomorrow!! Open to other suggestions as well. Thanks!

I really like the name Ephraim (pronounced Eh-fram preferably), I find it very handsome. I’m not sure I love EJ, but I’ve always LOVED the nn AJ.
Out of your other name choices, I really love Reid. Collin and Beau are nice, but I’m not a fan of Brady.
I like Emrick as poster one suggested as well.
Oh and I don’t care for the name or nn Jay. As a nn you could call him Phraim which I like, but obviously go with what you like.

Ephraim Reid
Ephraim Collin
Collin Reid
Connor Reid
Cullen Reid
Emrick Collin
Emrick Cullen
Ephraim River
River Ephraim

GL!!! :)

I like Ephrain but I am not keen on Jay. I would put Ephraim with one of your other favourite names eg Beau.
Ephrain Beau is a nice name.

I don’t like Ephraim at all. It’s very odd sounding, and I would imagine he’d have difficulty with people spelling and pronouncing it correctly. And why saddle him with that hassle if you’re not even going to call him Ephraim? Jay isn’t bad, but doesn’t really fit the style of Ephraim.
