In Spanish, Genesis is pronounced Henna-seess. I think that is so very pretty. I met a family with a baby girl named Genesis and they pronounced it the Spanish way, it was so cute. But the English pronunciation is the name of too many things. The first book of the Bible, the 80’s rock band, and the Hyundai luxury sedan for starters.

Those are all lovely! Interestingly enough, I found this page by searching for "Genesis Verity", which is our daughter’s name. (I was trying to see if our name announcement came up in Google searches.) And Autumn has always been a personal favorite too, as well as my and hubby’s favorite season. :D I always like the combination "Autumn Brooke".
