Demi vs. Navy vs. Indie
My daughter’s name is Luna Mirabelle and my son’s name is Porter Wesley. I am having another girl and have three ideas, though I am open to more. Middle name will be Maris or Beatrix, depending on the first. Could you vote and/or suggest more names, thanks!

You have a thing for adjectives, don’t you?
Demi -- Cute, but only as a nn for Demetria / Demeter. On its own it means "half."
Navy -- Too military for me. Plus, it makes her sound, well, blue.
Indie -- Cute, but again only as a nn. Indie on its own makes me thing of independent films. There’s nothing wrong with indie movies. They’re great. But for a person it’s odd.
Demetria Maris, Nava Beatrix (Nava means "beautiful" in Hebrew) or India Beatrix? I love Beatrix and Maris, by the way. Those are my favorites here by far.

My friend has a little girl named Navy, spelled "Navie." I think that if you went with an "ie" or "i" at the end, she wouldn’t get many jokes about it. And I really love the name. :)
