I would say it like No-Emmy and think most people would.

I’m not a fan of it. Sorry.

Noemie is gorgeous. I think you might have to correct some people once but I think they’d find it easy to pronounce after that.

I like it and I’d know how to pronounce it. But then I am already familiar with it. In my experience, very few names are not subject to mispronunciations and misspellings. I am sometimes amazed at how seemingly straightforward names can get mangled up. Granted, some more so than others. But I would not ditch a name I truly love for that reason alone.

That’s...........confusing.

Personally I prefer Naomi but if that’s not an option then Noemie is also very pretty!

It feels like I am saying "No Amy".

If this is the one you love, then I would still use it. :-)

Well, I am more familiar with Noemi than Noemie. They’re similar but because of the different accents (I’m Italian and say it like Italians) it’s less No-amy and more No-ehh-me

I don’t think it’s confusing or difficult. It’s clearly not Naomi and No-eh-mee is pretty close to No-ay-mee so if someone initially pronounces it that way, a quick correction won’t mess up her life.
