First Names vs. For NICKNAME vs. Evie ?

We really want our daughter to be called "Evie" but only as a nickname. It just seems way too short and nickname-ish to be her actual first name. We’d be thankful for any suggestions! By the way, we DO NOT like the name Evelyn. ~Kay

Yvette or Yvonne? I’ve also seem them spelled Evette and Evonne.

If you’ll call her evie just name her that.. I’ve definately heard of it as an actual name
