Timeless name...great choice.

Well it’s better than a name that won’t age well and looks cutesy on a baby and idiotic on an adult. Regardless it’s a strong name that will suit him throughout life. And this is your baby to name. I made the mistake of telling my mom what I wanted to name my son and she reacted so poorly I caved under the hormones and didn’t name him that. I have name regret still 2 years later.

The reason for these anonymous polls is so you don’t have to discuss baby names with family members. Regardless of how supportive they are, they will always show their true negative opinions and hurt our ’mommy-to-be’ feelings. I think it is just an automatic reaction.
1. I would stop talking to your family about the names.
2. I would DEFINITELY use this name, if it is the name you love. Baby name regret is awful; but, this is also an awesome, handsome, and intelligent man’s name. He will only be young for a short time and will want a MAN’S name to grow into. I think it is great!!

Remember, you are not shutting people out, you are soaring your feelings and keeping a clear head in order to choose the right name for your kiddo! Good luck!

William Jack is a great name! Both names are in the top 100, so they’re definitely not unstylish. Will is such a great nickname, too! Don’t listen to your mom: it’s a great name that flows well, even with your surname.

William Jack is classy, timeless and classic. I think it would suit all ages.
