I’m having a hard time with Anne as a middle name but it honours my mother-in-law...what do you think of it? Too common?

I think Greta Anne is nice! It’s lovely to honour someone with a middle name.

My own middle name is Anne, and (while it does potentially sound filler-ish) I’ve always thought it was pretty. It has the virtue of being simple, classic, utterly inoffensive, and never going out of style.

What about Margaret Anne nn Greta? or Margaret Anneliese?

I don’t like just Greta with Anne or Iris since they have the connecting vowels A-A or A-I

I agree with the ’connecting vowel’ comment but how often do you say your whole name out loud?

I like Greta Anne! I don’t think the "connecting vowel" thing matters.
My name is Jessica Anne and i like the way the vowels flow.

I also disagree about the connecting vowels. I don’t this Greta Iris flows very well, though, so my vote goes to Anne.

I’d prefer a longer name for Greta. How about Margareta nn Greta?

Hmm...this poll has quite suddenly gotten a suspicious numeber of votes. Someone just voted for Iris about ten times in the last ten minutes. If I were you, I do a different poll elsewhere since these numbers can’t be right.
