Margareta Katherine vs. Margaret Katherine vs. Greta Katherine

We want to use the nickname Greta if we have a girl, but we can’t decide if it should be short for Margaret or Margareta or if we should just name her Greta! What do you think? We’ll probably use Katherine as a middle name to honor someone special to us, but we’re open to other ideas. Our surname rhymes with the word mean. Thanks!

Definitely Greta!! IMO no amount of spelling Margaret differently or sticking an A on the end makes it any prettier. Greta is great though, GL!!
