Cool vs. Names!

My boyfriend and I want a name that sounds cool and modern for our baby. We find out the sex soon but I want to have a name before that. We like Harlee, Ryder, Oaklee, Harlow, & Jaxen for a girl. We like Xander, Daxton, Treyson, & Bryson for a boy. We can’t use a name that ends in son though because the baby’s last name will be Nelson. We need some more suggestions. Helpppp -Dani

I think Oak would make an awesome boys name! Oakley or Oaken if you had to make it longer, but I think it’s great on it’s own.

Xander is always cool!

Jaxen is a "son" name with creative spelling so I don’t think it would work with your last name.

Harlee, Ryder, Oaklee, and Jaxen are boy names, plus, they are all spelt wrong (Harley, Rider, Oakley, and Jackson). If you insist one giving your daughter a boy name, please do not pick Rider because she will consistently get "ride-her" jokes when she reaches her teenage years. Treyson sounds made-up, but your other boy names are okay. I would go with Harlow (girl) or Xander (boy). I prefer Bryce over Bryson.
