Serenity reminds me too much of Seinfeld..."serenity now" lol

Trinity is more of a name then Serenity, which to me is just a word.
Seren or Clarity?

Idk what serenity now means and Seinfeld hasn’t been making new shows since the 90s so I’m hoping Seinfeld isn’t a problem.. What do you others think? Did Seinfeld ruin this new. Honest opinions thanks-poster

clarity is clearly an ugly name

Seinfeld is on in perpetual reruns, I don’t think it would be as much of a problem as if you named your kid serenity 25 years ago, but some kid is going to know it and use it, plus it has some pop culture references on the geekier side in the Firefly/Serenity series. I agree that Trinity just has more of a namish feel. Plus, the only pop culture reference I’ve got for that one is the name of Carrie Ann Moss’ character from the matrix series, and she’s a pretty kick-[removed] character. In truth, I don’t like either as a name, but trinity is the better of the two.

I am not a fan of either as a name (words, yes, but not names); however, this is for your sweet girly, not mind. If I had a preference of one over another, I would choose Trinity. I am 29, have watched tons of Seinfeld episodes and have no idea what they are talking about. I don’t see that being a problem with Serenity. I DO see potential problems with the fact that they are not actual names.

I think Serenity is really pretty name. I know a little girl named Serenity. I watch Seinfeld all the time and never though of that.

Serenity is definitely a Seinfeld thing. It is also a Firefly (tv show)/Serenity (movie continuing the tv show) thing. So to me it just doesn’t seem like a viable name. Either someone will know, "SERENITY, NOW!!" from Seinfeld or the sci-fi movie.

Trinity is a lovely name. It makes me think of The Matrix but still very nice. There is the nn "Trin" and it has a Christian meaning as well (The Holy Trinity). So Trinity gmv.

Hey! I only suggested Clarity because I thought it was a style the poster would like, for I know a very sweet girl with that name and it popped into my head because of that! I’m not saying if actually use it myself! That hurt me! :’(

Between the two I like Serenity unless it is your third child, then Trinity would fit.

Serenity is a beautiful name. And, I know it’s silly, but Trinity always makes me think of Trailer Park Boys.

Serenity is beautiful - It makes me think of peace, and a calm quiet place... Trinity just have a sharper sound, and I immediately think of The Matrix when I here it.
