Mary JoAnn vs. Mary Joanne

We decided on the name Mary for our little girl and for her middle name, we’ll be combining my sister’s middle name (Jo) with mine (Ann). Should we add the "e" and use a lowercase "a" for Joanne or simply combine the two for JoAnn? Does one spelling look better than the other? Thanks!
