Full names for vs. Kate/ Katie vs. ?

My husband loves the name Katie, but neither of us really care for it as a whole name. I like much more uncommon names, so I don’t really like Caitlin/Katelyn or Katherine. Any other full names that would have the nickname Kate or Katie? Thanks!

Katharina. It is similar to Katherine, but it is very uncommon. Kathleen is underused, but it is more common than Katharina/Catharina. Katharina/Catharina is also underused. Catalina is also pretty.

My sister’s name is Karissa. She was called Kay a lot at home and that morphed into Katie.

I would think outside the box a bit. Many C or K names could be shortened to Katie, as well as some names with a strong "K" sound.

Another option is giving her the initials KT and then you can freely call her Katie or Kate.
