Emmalynne vs. Emmy/Emme vs. Emma

I am looking for some advice for naming my daughter. My name is Emily, and it is a family name. I was born in the early 90’s and much to my parents disappointment, Emily became the #1 girl name that year...I have been through school and I had 5 Emily’s in my grade for 4 years straight! I wanted to give my daughter a variation of Emily, but don’t know if it seems too trendy, or if even those names are over used! Please any fredback would be great! I’m open to ideas...and please let me know if I should move it to her middle name or just can the idea. Thank you all:)

I love Emma. I think its classic and beautiful just like Emily. Emme/Emmy is okay but I think its rather nicknamey for a full name. Maybe you could name her Emma and call her Emmie? Emma is really popular but I think it will stand the test of time unlike Emmalynne which is a modern invented name and only started being used in the last 10 years or so (and also way more popular than you think considering all the possible spelling variations of "Emma-Lyn".

You might also consider Emmeline (Prn "Emma-line" or "Emma-leen" or Emilia/Emiliana which are less popular variations. Otherwise I think Emma would make a great first or middle name.

Emma, Emmeline or Emelina are all legit variations and rather pretty as well

Emma is a classic, you can’t go wrong with that choice. But, I do love Emmeline, and you can call her Emme. Or, Emilyn, which is a different spelling of Emmalynne, which is a little lengthy. (You could also give your daughter a double name: Emma Lynn) GL!
