Caspar vs. Casper
Hi, we’re thinking of the name Caspar/Casper for our son. We’ve seen it spelled both ways, but we don’t know if there’s an "official" spelling. We’d rather go the traditional route, except for we don’t know what that is. How would you spell it? Thanks - the Wilcox family

The Baby Name Wizard book has Casper listed and "Caspar" as a variation. I would assume this means Casper is the traditional spelling :)

Both are equally correct, as they are both variations of Jasper. However, are you aware that it’s more than just a spelling difference? There’s a pronunciation difference as well. I’d spell it depending on how you’re pronouncing it.
