What do vs. you think?

We have two awesome kiddos named Ethan Michael and Sarabeth Joy. We’re having another little boy in July, and we keep coming back to the name Micah. We know it’s similar to Michael, so we tried to find another name, but we just keep coming back to it over and over. Is it really an issue? Would it bother you as a parent? What do you think?

I would keep Micah as a middle name because you won’t be calling him by his middle name so it won’t be a problem

But we don’t want Micah as a middle. We like it best as a first name.

It’s fine. Michael is not the name yoyr older son is called by. And Micah is a great name. I say use it.

Than keep it as a first name. Micah and Michael together as brothers sounds bad but if Michael isn’t the other first name it won’t be a problem

It doesn’t matter because Michael isn’t your other son’s first name. Obviously since you chose Michael, it’s a sound/name you like. Micah is fine. It might be a little weird if you were to use Michael since it’s exactly the same as your other son’s middle name, but Micah is fine.
