Full Name vs. For vs. Elle/Ellie

My partner and i are currently TTC, now my partner hates looking at names so when he comes to me with a suggestion I always try to like it. He came home yesterday and Suggested Elle or Ellie, which are both lovely but a bit nicknamey for my liking. So we have compromised and agreed to use it as a nickname if we can both agree on a full name. I suggested Elowen but he’s not too keen on, I would love some suggestions along the same lines; uncommon and sweet. Sorry for the long post! I look forward to some great suggestions

I think Elle would be fine as a full first name on it’s own. It’s a classic, timeless, gorgeous name and it is definitely not common. Elle with the nickname Ellie would be very pretty in my opinion!
