Jupiter vs. Female vs. Male
I really really love the name Jupiter for either gender but my boyfriend only thinks it’s fitting if we have a girl. I beg to differ and feel it is meant for boys since it’s a Roman God not Goddess but most just prefer it on a girl since it is similar to Juniper (can’t stand this name). It will most likely only be a middle name unless I can convince him otherwise however I’m curious to see what the majority thinks of Jupiter. Does it scream a specific gender? What would you think if you met a little boy or girl named Jupiter?

I don’t know the sound of it just sounds feminine to me. honestly I wouldn’t use it for either gender.

Rhymes with "stupider" and it just sounds bad. I don’t think anyone’s actually going to use this name. Save it for the planet.

Jupiter is for boys. Jupiter was a god not a goddess. Same with Mars.

I would probably assume that Jupiter is a boy, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it were a girl. I don’t find it to be particularly attractive for either gender, honestly. Almost odd.
