Okay...me and my husband are very patriotic and have always talked about naming our kids after influential American leaders. These are 3 that we both like but we are still somewhat torn. We are also open to having these as a middle name as well.

Adams and Washington are better in the middle name position. Adams is OK, I suppose. I just have trouble picturing a first name that is plural. The grammarian in me balks. "Adams is" or "Adams are?" If you used Washington as a first name, would his nickname be Wash, Washy? I can’t see it, sorry. But maybe you already have something in mind for that. Nickname Win / Winton? That might be kind of nice now that I think about it. Good luck! :0)
