Do you like the name Riverlyn/Riverlynn for a girl? I think River is too masculine for a girl...I want her to name to be pretty. I am pregnant with boy/girl twins. We like Peyton for the boy.

This isn’t a name, at all. Rio means River or even Riviera would be better. Can you imagine a classy woman named Riverlynn? Or a CEO of a big company? Probably not, right? Would you even respect a person named this?

I would respect someone named Riverlyn because my respect for people is not based on what someone is named....thats ridiculous.

It sounds completely made up. It’s like adding "lyn" to any word and calling it a name ... treelyn, lakelyn, meadowlyn ... it just sounds ridiculous.

I used to know a girl named Michaelyn and her brother was Michael. Maybe I should name him River and name her Riverlyn. Do you guys like that better?

my neice was born a month ago and my sister named her Riverlyn. I think the name is beautiful and lovely. They got the name from a woman at a local festival, calling out to her daughter. So, it’s not that made up, people!! Its a great name! :D

The name was made up, but recently. It most likely came from the River Lyn in England. But consider how many made up names there has been in recent decades that not only do not make sense but sound horrible. We think Riverlyn is really nice for our up and comer. It\’s in the top 2. There is a Riverlyn Medical in Nottingham,UK and there at least 32669 US citizens named Riverlyn since 2007. AND YES, I can see a CEO or even President of the US named Riverlyn. If my spawn gets that name, that\’s exactly where she\’s headed and she will be respected. I\’ll see to that.

We are considering Riverlynn for our daughter, River if it’s a boy. I think its pretty. :)

This initial post is kinda ironic because my daughter who was born in 1997 is named River-Lynn and my son who was born in 2009 is named Paden (sounds like pay...den when pronouced). I wanted uncommen and unique names when I had my kids.
