Gavin James vs. Gage Elliot

I like Gage and my husband likes Gavin and we cannot agree so we’ve come on here to see which one other people like best. My biggest problem with Gavin is that’s its becoming extremely popular.

I say throw both Gavin & Gage out and go with Elliott James or James Elliot or Eli James or James Eli........problem solved!

I like both and they pair well for brothers!
Gage sounds more rugged and Gavin more distinguished.

The are both trendy names that had a steep rise, and are now on their way back down. Gavin (#60) is more popular than Gage (#202), but it is also a more recognizable name, having first appeared on the charts in 1954. Gage, on the other hand, first appeared on the list of Top 1000 Names in 1989 (at #755) and was up to #360 in 1990.
