Having vs. Second vs. Daughter

Hi, we are expecting our second daughter. our first daughter’s name is Matilda, for the second one my husband suggested Lydia. what do you think? Are these good name for sisters? are they too close? your opinions would be greatly appreciated! Middle name suggestions would be great if you like it. (P.S we like Lydia Rose, but unfortunely it doesn’t flow with our last name). thank you for all your help!

I think Matilda and Lydia are very nice together, in style, sound, etc. and are not too close. We have a 5 year old Lydia and we don’t hear it much but get lots of compliments. She is Lydia Grace (a family name) and I really like these ideas you have gotten so far:
Violet
Genevieve (our other daughter)
Camille
Natalie
Scarlett
Noelle
Ruby
Celeste or Charlotte might also be pretty. GL!!
