We like the name Audrey, a lot. My husband loves it more than me. I can’t shake off Audrey Hepburn because she’s the only one well known. To me it’d be like naming her Mary-Kate, as in Olsen. It’s rare and it’s a celebrity name. Audrey is cute and will age well. I grew up in the 90s though, way after Hepburn. DH’s Mothers best friend was "Audrey" and since DD ’s FN is his moms name, it’s weird to me. Help!

If you both like it that much then I say use it! Not everyone is going to automatically think of Audrey Hepburn. But if you are having second thoughts maybe suggest to use Audrey as her middle name and pick a different one for her first.

It doesn’t sound like you love the name that much since you are doubting it so I would see if you can agree on a different name.

Audrey isn’t very rare (#39 on the US charts), and it’s really not one that would be considered a celebrity name. Honestly, I would be more concerned about it being a very common name than people associating it with a single person; likely they already know a few Audrey’s themselves.
I think if you really love it you should use it, but if you’re really unsure, consider Audra.
