Uncommon/Unusual vs. Unisex Names

I love unisex names but the only ones I can find are too popular/common such as Harper and Avery, they are cute but like I see it everywhere. I am looking for unisex names that are more uncommon/unusual. Any suggestions?

Don’t even go there. Take a look at some earlier polls about "unisex" names.

Don’t, think of your child - being a kid is hard enough without having to hate your name.

I truly try to stay away from unisex names. I have a unisex name and it’s hard. If people don’t know you and just your name they automatically think your a girl/boy. Just my input!

Uh, first of all I’m not pregnant. I am just look for unisex name ideas. Second of all, I see nothing wrong with giving a child a unisex name. I have one and I know many others who do and we are all fine. Just because you would hate a unisex name doesn’t mean everyone would. You can’t predict if your child will hate his or her name when picking it. Your daughter could hate her name if you give her a feminine, a kid can love having a popular name and hate an unusual name and vice versa.

I know some people dislike having a unisex name, but I have one and I love it and I know many others who love their unisex names as well. I am not pregnant with a child yet but I am willing to use a unisex name for my child because those are the names I love. Thanks for the input but I would really like to fine names of the style that I am aiming for.

the problem with actual unisex names is there really aren’t that many, 10 or 20 tops, which leads to stuff like the above where people just slap boys names on girls - not the same thing.
