Etienne Aubin vs. Remy Aubin

We have a strong French influence in our home, my husband i are both French and lived there as children. Our children are Noella Jolie(8), Genevieve Faye(4, Gigi), and Cosette Elise(2, Coco). We are finally having a baby boy, and we want another French name. Which one? Aubin will stay as the middle name, it is my mother’s maiden name. Last name is Beaulieu, pronounced Bow-lee-oh. Thanks! - Marguerite, Henry, Noella, Gigi, Coco, and our baby boy.

I recently read a book about a girl named Remy so it makes me think of a girl. Etienne sounds feminine to me too. hmmm...

Both are boy’s names I looked them up. Etienne is pro: (ey-TYEN) it’s French form of Stephen. Remy is pro: RAY-mee. It is French meaning oarsman.

They may be boy names but they look and sound like girl names, and im sure this baby wont be growing up in France.
